Sidney Crosby, the hero of Vancouver 2010, will lead out Team Canada’s training camp roster for the 2014 in Sochi, Russia.

He’ll be joined by 15 members of Team Canada’s gold medal-winning roster including defencemen Drew Doughty, Duncan Keith and Shea Weber and forwards Corey Perry, Rick Nash and Ryan Getzlaf. All three Staal brothers will also be in attendance.

There are no places for 41-year-old four-time Olympian Martin Brodeur, or Jarome Iginla, who has skated in the last three Games.

Despite a difficult year in Vancouver, Roberto Luongo heads the list of goaltenders. Luongo was the starter in Canada’s gold medal game and will be accompanied by Corey Crawford, Carey Price, Mike Smith and Braden Holtby.

Detroit’s Mike Babcock will return as head coach, supported Lindy Ruff and Ken Hitchcock.
